Important words to know…
I made a Spanish/English vocabulary sheet for my kids to take on our trip to the Dominican Republic. In it, I incorporated phrases for my child who is old enough to have reading skills plus cartoons for my pre-reader. This type of ‘play sheet’ makes for a fun airplane activity and also helps the kiddies get comfortable with the culture and signage that they’ll see at their destination. This sheet probably also makes them think they know more Spanish than Dora the Explorer!
